Top Ten 10 Things that I love about fall

  1. The change of colors
  2. The cooler temperatures...still waiting this one
  3. The smells outside
  4. More rainy days
  5. Candy Corn
  6. Layering clothes
  7. First snowstorms...they are light and usually only in the mountains
  8. The way the mountains look
  9. Warm food...we eat seasonally. It is hard to have hot chili on a 90 degree day
  10. The knowledge that Christmas is coming

    Fall is my favorite time of year but I always forget about how much I love candy corn!

    Catching up on your blog today! Your blog on your anniversary brought a smile and a tear to my eye. There was NO ONE who could "improve" a recipe like Grandma :) Happy belated anniversary...my b-day was really low key since Ike was due to blow into Big D that day. It fizzled (for us) and then I was off to H for disaster relief. I thought of you guys while I was there.
