Friday Night/Date Night

Fun time tuesday night

It has been a very long time since date night meant more than just going to our local favorite restaurant for dinner. Preston finally had a true day off and after having some time to himself, he planned a great date night.  He picked me up from dinner and we headed to the hills where it was much cooler than the 97 degrees here in the valley. 

We had an enjoyable dinner and we took our time but we were home by 915pm.  We forget out close Park City really is.  I see us heading up there whenever we can this summer.

End of Week fun

Things are a little out of order this week, with knit night and date night swapping. After work Preston and I had time together to relax and then headed to our favorite place for dinner.  We talked and relax and some of our favorite wait staff was there and got to visit with them. As we were leaving Em and Amy J walked in, we stayed and visited with them while they had their dinner. 

 

When we returned home, we found that China our youngest cat and very cute plus extremely soft cat was hanging out in her favorite spot the dirty laundry bag. She loves it when Preston empties it and it ends up laying on its side. It is like her own personal safe haven.  We are thinking of getting her own.

 

Today is a gorgeous day, the sun is out and it is only lightly cloudy with a little wind. I was able to take a short walk this morning as my left foot is been causing me some pain, I am giving it a little rest and stretching. Hopefully I will be back to my walking regime that I am enjoying. As I am back having coffee each morning as we found a coffee that my body likes, but I am not over doing.

 

I am excited about knit night tonight. I am loving that we are doing a Knit a long, hopefully tonight won't be too stressful for our new knitters.

 

 

At least one piece of good news today...

I won't be getting a 30 day vacation after my job ends as I got a new job already. I am really excited about my new job. I will be training this month and next. January will be a little bit of a juggle as I will need to work there more but it will all work out. Then February it will really begin.

Mr80grit and I went out tonight, ignoring the election as I just can't handle listening to the news. So after we voted, we played. We both got new shoes and had a great time at Gateway - Salt Lake's outdoor mall. Then dinner at our favorite burger/fries place. Tuesday is our date night and this one was a lot of fun. We ending up looking at Christmas decorations - love the holiday. (ps. my new job closes two weeks for Christmas..gotta love it)
