Friday Goals

Well this afternoon I didn't get as much knitting done as I wanted to; however, Mr80grit is going to be doing a computer upgrade after I get off this evening. So I think I might have enough time before I go to sleep to finish it. I have the movies I will watch while I knit. (probably all Harry Potter movies). Plus the neighbors are having a party and that will go late. They did invite us but they are all early twenties and guys so we will probably just stay home.

Friday Night Fun

I love when a boring friday night becomes one of fun with a phone call from friends.

Tonight was going to be just a few errands to run and a quiet dinner at home with Mr80grit and myself. But this afternoon some friends called to meet for dinner.

It wasn't the restuarant that made the night, it was the time spent with friends. We met at a national fast food chain where I actually can eat a few items.  We were there about an hour and half just laughing and telling stories. We so enjoy the time we spend with our friends.  I can't wait for our next time together.

Now we are home from running errands after and Mr80grit has to work in the morning, so time to finish up and go to bed. Night all!

It's Friday again

Isn't amazing how quickly the weeks fly by? Now it is friday again and I still have a pretty good to do list left to do. I am making good progress on my Hanami and have other projects wanting to be done.

Tonight is a boring Friday night with laundry and other chores. I knitted a pair of socks for a friend and remembered to block them tonight. Hopefully they will be dry in the morning as band practice is at 815 am . Ouch! My only two early mornings are Saturday and Sunday. It is really quite nice.

The sun is suppose to be out and I will try to remember to bring my knitting and my camera out to grab pictures~

Fridays are amazing

It has been a while since I understood that whole TGIF thing. (for fellow blondes that doesn't mean toes go in first). I am getting more excited about weekends with each passing week. I love that I get to hang out with my hubby all weekend long. Yes, we are each others best friend. We really need to focus on the house this weekend. But it is already has the makes of a busy weekend, band practice on Saturday for like three hours as the contemporary band is learning a new song. Plus they are doing photo shoots for the kids in the different bands for work tomorrow too and I might wander there as they are in the same building as our practice.

Fridays are short days in the office for the teachers too. They only teach until 6 pm instead of the normal 9 pm. So I usually close the office up on Fridays. Tomorrow a few of the teachers have lessons so I have to print there schedules and leave it for them.

The downside of sitting by big windows that face south is that by 4 o'clock in the afternoon on really sunny days like today the front office area is a sauna even though it is cold outside, Crazy I know but I can handle it! I love having windows.

Knitting - I really need to do some knitting especially on mr80grit's thank you socks as I am ready to be done if you know what I mean!
