A few days in the woods

As it happens each year in July, it is summer break for my work. This time is a little different. No grand road trips, but a little fun none the less. After running errands on Monday, hubby and I set off for the woods not too far from home. We tried a different campground. It was almost totally empty.

Then after a weird experience, we decided to leave that campground and go up the road a little further. I am so glad we did. We found a tiny campground with four sites, tents only right by the river.  So we set up camp and kicked back for two nights. I got a bunch of knitting done and hubby got some major reading in. It was awesome. Now we are home again and ready for the next part of our vacation

Mr80grit birthday

Today was hubby's birthday. It was a very busy day that ended late. Church on the morning as on sound team this week, work at K for him, dinner out with the girls after work with dessert at the girls house. So much fun!
