First Days of A/C
Well yesterday was a very big day. First was Preston taking M to the airport. Bear was co-pilot on the way to the airport as mornings and me aren't friends and was before dawn. M and A hung out in the back of the van.
Then after a long morning nap, Preston and I got up to see A and Bear off to Phoenix. We head out to a Hand of Praise concert ourselves, followed by errands which included iced coffee.
Once at home it was a quick 20 minutes bike ride around the businesses behind our home then off to Winger's for the On Track acoustic night. We finally got home about 11:15 pm and the hot was quite hot due to the temperatures in the middle 70's yesterday so the A/C was turned on for the first time this year! I think we should have kept it on during the night as the temperature outside was still warm and I woke up several times quite warm.
I had a very hard time waking up for church this morning so Preston went and got us another wonderful iced coffee, which made Sunday School much easier to follow as my brain was awake and then I was able to knit also!
After church we had a phone message from A that she was 170 miles from Phoenix and back into cellphone coverage (maybe). We had lunch with our friends T and J which was a lot of fun. Then home for naps and laundry. Once again the a/c was turning on and for now is on as today is a warm day again. A is blogging during her trip so I am inspired to blog more.

Tuesday night tacos
There is just something warm and comforting about a family sitting around having dinner. Tonight was one of those wonderful times, after a stressful end to a work day coming home to dinner at the "summer" home was very relaxing. Now I am ready to chill in a bubble bath with a good book then head to bed.

Hubby's request
My husband wanted me to blog about a project we frogged yesterday!
I had this project on the needles since he bought me the beautiful yarn on one of our Saturdays. I am totally in love with the yarn but the pattern was boring me. I will do the pattern but with different yarn as it wasn't a good match. So the project was about 3 inches in width when I started to frog it. The yarn is 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk. I was knitting holding two strands together.
It took my hubby and I about 3 hours yesterday to frog the project and to separate the yarn strands as they love to hold on to each other and tangle. But in the end this is how it looked.
Now I am casting on for a different cowl with a little bit of a pattern. I will update later.
