Well I cast on the second sock for me, a cuff for mom as her birthday is Monday. Then test knit for cowl. Not bad for being brain fried when I got home.

Three things on Thursday
1. Air quality is pretty bad and is making headaches a regular thing.
2. I finally got the boot cuffs out in tonight's mail. They should be there by Monday.
3. Our coffee arrived today and I can't wait for the first pot, been missing this for months.

Tuesday thoughts
Well after a long weekend where cupcakes were made but the cuff wasn't knit. I am happy to say that I am halfway on the spiral cowl. The royal lady socks arrived at their new home at my aunt's. She immediately put an order in for two more pair at my leisure. So I need to get two things off my needles so I can work on items requested. Plus mom hinted for some cuffs for her birthday which is in two weeks. Some serious knitting needs to be done.

Monday holiday
Hubby and I both had the day off. It was great to hang out together. We had coffee, ran errands, spent a regular day together. I did take calls for work but it was worth it. The cats hardly noticed we were around.

Seattle on my mind
Some how it was fitting that most my knitting today was on Seattle blue sockhead hat as Seattle Seahawks won the nfc game against the 49ers to go to the superbowl in two weeks.

Weekend prep
Today I got ready for the weekend. I got stuff to make cupcakes and I cast on the 2nd cuff. I also cleaned the kitchen to inspire me to actually make the cupcakes. I really enjoyed the gf yellow cake mix by king Arthur flours and looking forward to trying their gluten free chocolate cake. Amy has also been craving cupcakes. Let the weekend begin.

Thoughts on Thursday
If you wake up with a migraine, just plan on it being one of those days. That's what I did and made it much easier to survive. I didn't rush, but I took everything one step at a time and at the end of the day feel pretty good overall. It helps to end the day with a homecooked meal at the girls and then a warm tub and some reading.

Wednesdays are for knitting
I worked a little on everything I have on the needles but only the sock shows progress as I made it to the heel flap. I took the time this am to work on the snag in my pink cloud. One more session and reblocking should repair it.

My Saturday
My day started with morning time with hubby just relaxing. He had to work in the afternoon, so I ran errands. Prescription pick up, drop books off at library, mail packages at post office, yarn store for needles and a little yarn, then video place for sale DVDs. A unexpected lunch with the girls at Stella's. Then home to knit a "little" which ended up a pair of boot cuffs. Pizza with hubby for dinner from the Pie. Ready for a tub and some reading.

Sunday knitting
Sunday night included sock knitting at church on double points, never a good idea as the sound booth likes to eat them but this time I was lucky.
I test knitted to find the right needle size for my boot cuffs. 10.5 will work, now need to get them on Tuesday.
Started the sockhead hat for Amy to wear under her bike helmet.
