Knit Night Recap

Friday night knit night was one of kind, with good food fresh from the pressure cooker. We had dog drama and great knitting done. We all had done our homework so we started at the same place (okay Amy had a little of the cuff left to do but I am not saying anything..nope not me...hee hee..). When it was all said and done we all got finished at the same spot. Very successful knit night!

Plus a little more knitting was completed on my 2nd square,

Knit Night - Applied String Knot Theory Class

There is a small group of us that try to meet at the girls house once a week to do a knit night on Thursday as much as possible. Last week, Em had testing for her yellow belt so that we didn't get together.  Last night we got together for knitting and food.  Three of us are doing a KAL. We are doing baby booties and beret. We are going as slow as the slowest knitter.

Our other friend is working on a scarf of her own design.  I cast on a 2nd yarn of the project so that I can knit ahead so that if we run into problems with the pattern, hopefully I have figured it out before we each it together.

On a side note, I have been knitting socks since 2006. Em was telling me I have probably knitted over a million stitches, I don't even want to think about it.

A little energy to start the morning!

Today after my wonderful cup of green tea, I enjoyed a little Root beer energy drink in a cheery glass.  It made my breakfast seem more like a celebration. It almost felt like having a mimosa.  It is Thursday, which means Knit Night!!! Or applied string knot theory class depending on the day. We are doing a KAL with a baby hat and booties.  I can't wait to see how this goes!!!
